The townland of Glebe [Draperstown] is situated on the main road between Tobermore and Draperstown.

In the nineteenth century it was part of the Parish of Ballynascreen in the Barony of Loughinsholin. With the introduction of Workhouse in the 1840s it became part of the Poor Law Union of Magherafelt witin the District Electoral Division [DED] of Draperstown.
