[Griffith's Nos. 1-6] in the opposite order to the previous
photograph and is probably of a similar date. The detail of the bay
window of [No. 6] can be seen more clearly in this
photograph. along with Hill Bros. sign.
Also the poultry hanging outside Thomas
Cameron's butcher's shop are visible.
This part of the street has a very
distinctive mid to late Victorian character to it. If you
look at the Griffith's Revisions you will be able to get
some idea of when this building took place.
Unfortunately this original facade
suffered greatly during the 1992 town centre bomb.
