1858 Printed [Tenement] Valuation for William Street [within] & [without], Londonderry

William Street [within] was situated within the town boundary in 1858 which was marked by Mary Blue's Burn. House No. 1 was near the corner with Waterloo Place and houses No. 22 & 23 were near the corner of Cow Bog [later Waterloo Street]. House No. 12 was close to Mary Blue's Burn [around Prince Arthur Street] and No. 13 was on the other side of the street on the lower side of  the burn - see the 1859 Griffith's Valuation Map of William Street.

William Street [without] was situated outside the town boundary in 1858 in the townland of Edenballymore. Mary Blue's Burn marked the town boundary at that time. No. 77, the house of Daniel Boyle was on the upper side of Mary Blue's Burn.  House No. 1, Richard Toy, was located on the upper side of Little James Street . The area between Mary Blue's Burn and Little James Street had not yet been developed in 1859 and, therefore, was not valued - see the 1859 Griffith's Valuation Map of William Street.
