The map below shows some of the estates in the townlands within the parishes of Ballymoney and Kilraghts in 1859 (source Griffith's Printed Valuation). See townland map for the names of the townlands. Originally, all of these townlands belonged to the Earl of Antrim but over the years many were sold off. Note that the Earl retained the town of Ballymoney and some of the adjoining townlands. Only Leslie (at Leslie Hill) and Hutchinson (at Stranocum) lived within the parish of Ballymoney. Montgomery lived in the parish of Dunluce at Benvarden. Cromie lived just outside Portstewart in Cromore House. Agnew and Batt lived outside the Ballymoney district. Note that the townlands owned by Batt had once been part of the Agnew estate. Also note that Leslie owned townlands in the adjoining parish of Loughguile. Montgomery had townlands around his home place at Benvarden plus townlands in the parishes of Derrykeighan and Loughguile.

There are detailed townland maps with lists of tenants for the Agnew (1788), Hutchinson (1805) and Montgomery (1788) estates.
