Griffith's Valuation Map (1859) for the Townlands of Killyramer and  Dungorbery

This map shows where the plots of land and houses listed in the Griffith's Printed Valuation were located within the townlands of Killyramer and Dungorbery in 1859.  Remember numbers and capital letters refer to plots of land and lower case letters to houses. Unfortunately, it is often very difficult, if not impossible, to identify lower case letters on the map. In fact the original maps for this area for the 1860s were difficult to read. The map below is one that I have constructed. It only shows a few of  the lower case letters which identify particular houses. If you go to askaboutireland.ie. you will be able to access maps there which might show a few more.
